Commas

My father had left our house in the midst of a fight between Lindsey and my mother. My mother was trying to get Lindsey to go with her to the Y to swim. Without thinking, Lindsey had blared, "I'd rather die!" at the top of her lungs. My father watched as my mother froze, then burst fleeing to their bedroom to wail behind the door. He quietly tucked his notebook in his jacket pocket, took the car keys off the hook by the back door, and snuck out.

Story Spinner; option 1

As the old man approached my friends and me we heard him say something to us, but it only sounded like gibberish. The strange old man inched closer and closer as we swung on the swings at the playground. Then the old man stepped onto the coarse sand of the playground which was way too close for my friends and I so we took off, running to my house as fast as we could. Unfortunately, we left our shoes at the playground so we were barefoot!
We finally reached my house after what seemed like an eternity of running. Relieved that we had escaped the old man, we proceeded to my room, drinks in hand, to play some PS2. After playing PS2 for a couple hours we decided it was safe to leave the house again, so i hopped on my bicycle, while my friend jumped on his skateboard. We roamed the streets for awhile until the sun started setting in the sky.
When it started getting dark we realized we had to go back to the park for our shoes at some point. After a few preparations we were ready for our dangerous mission. We rode to the park, bicycle and skateboard, side by side. It was cold out, so we both wore our jackets and jeans. We made it to the park and flipped on the flashlight to look for our lost shoes. We spotted the shoes with our flashlight and had a victory high five. We ran to pick up the shoes then heard something. My friend pointed the flashlight up to see the old man standing there. "It was a trap!" we both screamed. We quickly put on our shoes and ran for our objects of transportation. We made it home after a few minutes, safe at last.

One bright and sunny day, Talyn, Colton, and Chauncey were outside playing football. Chauncey said "throw it to me!" so Talyn threw him the ball only to be intercepted by Colton. Once they all got bored, they decided to go to the park. As they ran to the park they came across Taylor, Miles, and Marcus, so they stopped and talked for a minute. Talyn said "What's up guys?" So Miles replied "Not much, just heading to the park, what about you all?" "Wow!" Colton said. "Us too." So they all quickly ran up to the Park. When they got to there was a smelly frog hopping around on the slide. Miles said "Dang that thing is stinky!" and kicked it under the slide. He didn't realize that it was actually Chelsea's pet frog. When Chelsea came back with her pizza from Pizza Hut she saw her frog laying on the ground and screamed. "It's a dark day in this world when you people kick innocent frogs." So Miles ran away and Chelsea said "Wow! he runs fast." At this point Taylor appeared and said "where were you guys yesterday?" and they all played football for the rest of the day.

Shakespeare language

I walked anight to my house as i ate an apple-john when an anthropophaginian came running after me. By the way he was running you could tell he was deboshed so i determined that he would not be able to catch me. As i was running i saw a drollery, became distraught and fell. Diffused, i stood up and kept running, eventually making it home in time for rebeck practice.

1.) Eight years ago today, i was sitting in one of my second grade classes, i don't remember which one, and our teacher rushed out of the room with another teacher for some reason. After 9/11 we started having moments of silence and also we put American flags all over campus to remember the police, fireman, and everyone else that had helped that day. I didn't know much since i was only in second grade but i do remember seeing stuff about 9/11 on the news a lot.
2.) I believe that this country will remember the devastation of 9/11 forever.
3.) I think that terrorists chose to attack this country because we are one of the most powerful countries in the world.
4.) I do not know anyone who was directly affected by 9/11 although i do know that my music teacher has a son that worked in the twin towers but luckily he was sick that day and couldn't make it to work, otherwise I would have known someone it directly affected.
5.) If i were to write a story about 9/11 I would write it from the point of view of one of the firefighters or policeman that helped get survivors out of the twin towers that day because they got a first hand look at what happened.

VEGETATE

Instead of getting out of the house and doing something the lazy little girl stayed inside and VEGETATED.

I think that personal morals and beliefs are more important than friendship because you always have to stay strong in what you believe in and don't let anyone get in the way of that. For example, if a friend told you to stop believing in god would you do it? Of course not!

The Lovely Bones

I think that the book The Lovely Bones looks very interesting and would be something that i would want to read, even if it wasn't for school. This book looks interesting to me because it seems like it would keep me wondering about what is going to happen next, so i would want to keep reading. For example, will the murderer ever pay for what he has done? Will they ever discover Susie's body? These kinds of things would keep me interested and make me want to keep reading. So in my opinion this would be a very good book for us to read sometime this school year. Also, i would like to see this in theaters after reading it to see how much different the movie is from the book.

blog #1

I think that when we start reading books and start doing writing assignments on those books we will be able to do those writing assignments in a blog instead of on word documents and printing it out.
